Rainbow Colours Into The Rainbow

It has been more than 26 years since Marcus De Storm finished “Rainbow Colours: Into The Rainbow” Volume One, the one special book that was once feared, loathed and unexpected by many around the mid-1980′s. Of course, for those that recognise the book title (Unpublished, of course), then it could be the name that is throwing you.

In a formal announcement today, Marcus De Storm informed the world that he was to release the first chapter of “Rainbow Colours: Into The Rainbow” Volume One through one of his Blogs on the “WordPress” Network, exactly which one it is going to be is, as yet unknown. The Autobiography, however, does not “Kiss and Tell” as such, as it does express many experiences through the lost years to the the mid 1980′s. Even more news broke today on Marcus’ plans to “Light Up the World” with a sensational new Novel titled “Rainbow Colours: Diamond Nights”, one which will uncover many taboo’s within a world spanning more than 26 years. A sequel, maybe, but a sequel that will place the pressure on many around the city of Leeds, and especially around the UK, Spain, Amsterdam, France and Italy.

The first chapter of “Rainbow Colours: Into The Rainbow” will be released shortly, while the second volume’s details will be released shortly, more news and updates will follow soon.

Ascent

The descent into the darkness has ended
Allowing the sun to finally rise,
A burden taken from my shoulders
So I may ascend to claim my prize.
My chains have now been broken
My spirit is now finally free,
For my ascent is that of my destiny
And the ending I really want to see.

Destiny is but the future unmade
A place in history we will one day touch,
For beauty alone can exist without life
Yet life without beauty not as much.
The far away plains call out my name
A whisper that echoes on the wind,
Something old and something new
But nothing for those who have sinned.

So I raise a glass and drink a toast
For the curse has been taken away,
My rising smile becomes my beacon
The only one true and final way.

A Poet’s Last Rhyme

This hollow body has become weary
The light is fading from my once strong heart,
Days are longer now that I’ve felt the pain
In a way my soul has been ripped apart.
I think of this day like it was to be my last
The night-time song as it will be no more,
My thoughts of family and friends run deep
As though they to me can rebuild and restore.

Maybe not today, nor tomorrow I wither
But one day soon I believe I will go,
Leaving behind some things so precious
Of passion, loyalty and love nobody will know.
Above all in this whole world today
My legacy will carry on through time,
For my life fulfilled as within a dream
This is the last of this poets rhyme.

Bringer Of Light

They are the one’s that bring the light
That mighty starlight, star bright,
The one’s that force away the darkness
Bringing the day time from the night.
They are the protector’s of our dawn
The guardian’s who bring the day,
For their protection is our great need
So our children can find their way.
The darkness we see as evil
The light we must always fuel,
For if the darkness defeats the day
Then evil will forever rule.
Human life will bow to menace
Our eyes blinded by the slightest spark,
Each soul in turn will wither and die
Because light was defeated by the dark.

So together we stand against this foe
Strength in numbers unlike before,
When darkness tried hard to take us
But for that beacon of light secure.
And with a glass raised high I smile
For the keepers of the light I know,
Life is for those with untainted hearts
And soul’s as pure as the white driven snow.

A King’s Defeat

Kneel before me your future king
For my fury shall keep you safe,
Warn your enemies of my name
For they will call me the Luna Wraith.
My soul will drive my passion
As my spirit will lead my heart,
Inside my mind the walls will fall
Tearing only the darkest ones apart.
If I fall upon this soil this night
Let it not be by my enemies hand,
For my end has been written in stone
And of how I lose this entire land.
In the passing of day she shall come
Her kiss will disguise her deceit,
Upon my knees in sunlight I die
Struck down by unfair defeat.

Centurian Stance

Enter they do the great arena
Their hearts and minds in a trance,
Today is their day to be that of men
And withstand the Centurion stance.
The heat of the Southern Sun shines
Reflecting their souls from silver shields,
As from the great gates their enemies march
Clashing swords until finally one falls and yields.
Two great enemies fight in battle this day
But only one of these shall forever fall,
Both of good and evil, none so pure
Until at last they hear the creators call.
Step forward you, my weary soldier
Take up your stance in my name,
For if you fall within this arena
Your loss will be this the eternal game.
